Hello dear friends!
We won the 24 Hours of the Nürburgring in the SP3T Class all together with my great Team mates
Emir Asari, Matthias Wasel and Max Partl and the incredible Team Max Kruse Racing!!
Really difficult to find the words to express my feelings, it's a huge result for all of us and I'm very proud to have been part of this Team effort.
About the race week, it has been perfect! At the end of the three qualifying sessions we finished 2nd which gave us a good starting position for the race on Saturday.
We took the start and the lead also pretty quickly and we all started to build a confortable margin from the others cars of our category. It was very special for me driving in the sunset then into the night smelling BBQ's, seeing the fireworks, Firecamps, spotlight.....
Fans here are the best and crazy.
Everything went well through the night and also on Sunday, the car had no issues at all and both the team and drivers made no mistakes.
I had the big honor to do the last stint and cross the chequered flag.
I must say it has been very emotional when I finally saw it, after what has been the most difficult mental stint for me.
To cross the finish line as a winner in my first participation in the most difficult race in the world is something crazy, I don't know if I've realised yet what we achieved but I really must thank from the bottom of my heart the whole Max Kruse Racing family for the warm welcome and their flawless job during the week. Also my team mates who helped me a lot to improve and gave me precious advice as well as a lot of support, since it was my first time with this car, on this track and in this very particular race.
I need to thank Benjamin Leuchter once again for his trust and the opportunity that he gave to me to compete in the 24H, even though I had no experience driving it.
Last but not least I would like to thank all my partners who helped me to build this project and to realise a dream, starting with Synoptic, Eze my hometown, Les Grands Chais Monégasques, Botti Food Service, Scuderia Tazio Nuvolari and my Family.
Thank you very much for everything!
Driving in front of more than 235.000 Fans around the most beautiful track in the world is something that I will never forget.
Regarding my racing programm, I still have nothing confirmed for this year as my studies are my main focus but I hope to be back on track as soon as possible and I will let you know when I have some good opportunity to race again in 2023!
