Hello everyone!

Here is my summary of the 2024 edition of the 24 Hours of Nürburgring!

After our success in 2023, for me it was obvious to join the Max Kruse Racing family once again.

This year, however, I was driving a slightly different car. In fact, I was lined up together with Matthias Wasel, Emir Asari and Timo Hochwind on the Golf GTI TCR Evo2 "Zebra" No.10.

This car was developed by Max Kruse Racing with several modifications compared to the already very competitive Golf GTI TCR that saw us take victory in 2023.

This "Evo" car had the particularity of running on bio-fuel!

Promoting a more sustainable approach to racing without any sacrifice in terms of performance.

The race week started well with all three qualifying sessions taking place over 2 days both during the day and at night. It was nice to be back at full speed on the Nordschleife and to accumulate valuable laps and experience with this new car.

In the end we qualified P5 for the race.

The start of the race already put us to the test with the changing weather conditions. On the pre-grid the sun was still out but in some parts of the track the weather radar was showing rain. The choice of tires was decisive and we decided to start on wet tires which was the right choice, as the rain intensified during the formation lap and covered the entire track. Matthias had a clean start, which was very good and allowed us to adopt a good strategy, building solid foundations for the long race ahead of us.

Unfortunately, not everything went according to our plans and our race ended prematurely.

One of my teammates was involved in an accident and the damage was too significant, putting an end to our efforts.

The most important thing is that he is okay.

I'm obviously very disappointed but it's part of the game and as much as I love the Nordschleife, it's called the "Green Hell" for a reason.

I'm convinced that we had a good chance of getting a great result, at least a podium, but that's how it went this year.

We can't always win and despite the retirement, the 24h of Nürburgring is always a fantastic event to take part in.

The atmosphere is unmatched, racing on the most beautiful track in the world in front of more than 245,000 fans is incredible.

I would like to thank the whole team and Benjamin Leuchter for the trust and for the opportunity to race with them again.

I was also lucky enough to take part in the world premiere of the brand new Golf GTI Clubsport on the Ring Boulevard, which was crazy, so thank you for that.

Last but not least, I would like to thank all my partners who helped me take part once again in one of the biggest motorsport events and in a race that made me dream as a child, starting with Synoptic, Eze, my hometown, Les Grands Chais Monégasques, Botti Food Service, Scuderia Tazio Nuvolari and my Family.

Thank you so much for everything!

I will be back racing on the Nordschleife on 21-22/06 for NLS3 again with Max Kruse Racing in a Golf TCR.

We will push to the maximum to get a good result!

In the meantime, take care and see you soon!
